National Alliance board member, Latvian MP and documentary producer Edvīns Šnore has produced a documentary film “The Unknown War: Baltic Resistance”, which tells about the not so well known phenomena of Baltic guerilla resistance against the occupying Soviet authorities.

Cut by the Iron curtain Baltic partisans engaged in a desperate fight for freedom. So called forest brothers mainly lived in underground bunkers in forests to keep on armed fight against the communists. This fight continued for more than 10 years after the end of the WW2.

The film is based on eyewitness accounts, previously unpublished historical sources, as well as archive documents.
Šnore is also the author of the documentary The Soviet Story, which tells about the crimes committed by the Soviet Union.
